Harmony Lodge #88, Free and Accepted Masons, Prince Hall Affiliation, mourns the profound loss of our Revered Brother Jesse L. Jackson — a distinguished Prince Hall Freemason, tireless civil rights champion, and global voice for justice, dignity, and human equality.
Reverend Brother Jackson exemplified the highest ideals of Freemasonry. His life’s work reflected our core principles of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth, not only within the tiled recesses of the Lodge, but boldly and faithfully in the public square. Through decades of service, advocacy, and moral leadership, he uplifted the oppressed, challenged injustice, and inspired generations to labor for a more just and compassionate world.
As Prince Hall Masons, we recognize Reverend Brother Jackson as a giant whose light extended far beyond our fraternity, yet whose commitment to our Ancient Craft remained steadfast. His labors strengthened the fraternal chain, and his example reminded us of the sacred obligation to serve humanity with courage, faith, and unwavering resolve.
Today, we grieve deeply, for a link in our fraternal chain has been broken. Yet we take solace in knowing that his legacy endures—in our Lodge, in our communities, and in the continuing struggle for justice and equality.
Harmony Lodge #88 extends heartfelt condolences to the Jackson family, his loved ones, and all who were touched by his remarkable life. May the Great Architect of the Universe grant him eternal rest, and may his memory forever remain a blessing.
So Mote It Be.
Respectfully submitted,
Desmond Campbell
